From Home Kitchen to Downtown Dearborn

Our story began in 2017, when founder A’va Bazzi started making açaí bowls from home and sharing them on social media. What started as a fun hobby quickly gained traction, with people flooding her DMs asking for their own bowls. By April 2018, she took the leap, launched her business page, and began taking orders daily. She hustled for years, running her business from home while working multiple jobs, even setting up food stands during Ramadan to share her creations with the community.

Despite facing challenges—especially as a young female entrepreneur—A’va never gave up. After years of perseverance, Bee Fruity by Ava officially opened its doors in Downtown Dearborn on December 7, 2023. The opportunity came when Bowl Appetit expanded their space and invited Ava to bring her vision to life alongside them. Today, Bee Fruity is a thriving, welcoming café where people can enjoy healthy, handcrafted food in a cozy, aesthetic atmosphere.
